Job Description

We're looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to play a key role in keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly while supporting organisational change. You'll handle a mix of operational and strategic HR work -- from managing attendance and performance issues to advising on complex employee relations matters and supporting organisational redesign.

Responsibilities



Manage day-to-day HR activities, ensuring smooth operation across attendance, performance, and conduct matters. Provide expert advice and guidance on complex employee relations issues, including ill-health retirements and sensitive casework. Represent HR in meetings with senior stakeholders and trade union representatives, ensuring consistent application of policy. Support the design and delivery of organisational change initiatives, contributing to restructuring and workforce planning projects. Coach and influence managers to build capability and promote best practice in people management. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment law, HR policy, and public sector frameworks.
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: 42,000.00-49,000.00 per year
