Role Purpose and Description





The HR Business Partner (HRBP) partners with leaders across the UK business unit to deliver people strategies that enable growth, engagement, and performance. Acting as a trusted partner, the HRBP provides expert support across the full range of HR generalist responsibilities -- from employee relations and reward through to workforce planning and organizational change.



This role requires someone who can balance hands-on HR delivery with strategic input, leveraging strong data and analytical skills to guide decision-making. The HRBP ensures UK people practices align with global frameworks while meeting local business and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities





HR Partnering

Act as a strategic partner to UK business leaders, shaping people plans that support organizational objectives. Coach and influence managers on leadership, performance, engagement, and capability development. Partner with global HR colleagues to localise and implement people initiatives in the UK.

Employee Relations

Lead on complex ER cases, ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant outcomes. Provide proactive guidance to managers on employee relations, absence management, and wellbeing. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and advise on policy and practice.

Compensation, Benefits & Reward

Deliver annual reward processes (salary reviews, bonus cycles) in collaboration with global Reward teams. Advise managers and employees on reward policies, benefits, and recognition frameworks. Monitor reward competitiveness through benchmarking and market insights.

Performance & Development

Embed performance management processes, ensuring objectives, feedback, and career development are consistently applied. Partner with Talent & Organizational Development colleagues to support succession planning and capability-building in the UK. Promote learning opportunities and support managers in developing team skills.

Workforce Planning & Change

Partner with leaders on organisational design, restructures, and change programmes. Provide HR support during periods of transformation, ensuring employee engagement and risk mitigation. Align workforce planning with business goals and global operating models.

Data & Insights

Produce and interpret people dashboards, using data to highlight trends in attrition, engagement, performance, and workforce demographics. Use insights to influence leadership discussions and inform proactive HR actions. Partner with Finance and Operations to ensure workforce data supports broader business planning. Working closely with stakeholders to align HR strategies with business goals, supporting organizational changes, restructuring and DEI initiatives.


Skills Knowledge and Expertise





Strong HR generalist background with proven experience in HR partnering roles. In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice. Demonstrated expertise in employee relations, reward, and organisational change. Skilled in using HR data and analytics to create insights, tell a story, and guide business decisions. Strong influencing and coaching skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders. Ability to balance operational HR delivery with strategic input. Experience working in complex, matrixed, or international organisations. Business Acumen Experience of ISO27001 Audits Knowledge of Immigration legislation Strong analytical and problem solving Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills

Technologies

HRIS (e.g., Iris Cascade, Workday, SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM). Data and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, advanced Excel). Microsoft 365 suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint).

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Human Resources, Business, or related field. Postgraduate qualification in HR / Organisational Development (preferred).

Certifications

CIPD Level 7 (or equivalent senior HR qualification) strong

HR role within the UK team, working closely with UK business leadership. Regular collaboration with global HR colleagues to align UK practices with international frameworks. Flexibility to travel to other offices in the UK Hybrid working 3 days office, 2 days homebased
