The People Business Partner plays a crucial role in supporting the People function by providing strategic and operational HR advice to managers and employees. This position is responsible for delivering people solutions across a range of HR disciplines, including employee relations, performance management, talent management, compensation, and organisational development. The People Business Partner will partner with managers and leaders to drive HR initiatives, ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and help foster a positive organisational culture.



You'll be;



Acting as a trusted point of contact for managers and employees on complex HR matters, including employee relations, conflict resolution, performance management, and workplace concerns. Supporting managers with disciplinary processes, grievances, and performance improvement plans, ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant outcomes. Partnering with leaders and Talent Partners to support recruitment, succession planning, and the development of high-potential talent. Advising on job design, hiring approaches, and internal career progression, identifying skills gaps and supporting targeted development initiatives. Collaborating with Learning & Development to support coaching, mentoring, and training programmes that build capability across teams. Ensuring compliance with employment legislation, best practice, and Jellycat policies through effective implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures. Advising on compensation, salary reviews, bonuses, and benefits to support equitable and competitive reward practices. Supporting organisational development and change initiatives, including workforce planning and employee engagement activity. Using HR data and reporting to provide insight on employee trends, performance, and retention to support decision making.

You'll have


Ideally, CIPD Level 7 qualified, with experience in a senior generalist HR role. Bringing 5+ years' HR experience, including a strong track record in complex employee relations. Confident using HR systems and data to support insight, reporting, and decision-making. Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Trusted to handle sensitive and confidential matters with integrity, discretion, and professionalism. Able to influence and build strong relationships at all levels, with excellent knowledge of employment law and HR best practice. * A proactive, collaborative problem solver with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
