Purpose and objective of the role



The HR Business Partner (HRBP) at Pulsar Next Gen Consulting plays a critical role in supporting people across the organisation and locations including UK and South Africa. Responsible for the full employee lifecycle, you will work closely with Directors, delivery Leads, and teams. The HRBP will help build a high performing, engaged, and inclusive culture aligned to Pulsar's values and growth ambitions.

This role has a strong focus on talent development, engagement, and capability building, including supporting the future generation of apprentices, graduate apprentices, and emerging talent. The HRBP will work in partnership with leaders to develop people with the skills and experience required to become ServiceNow-certified, client-facing consultants and members of Pulsar's technical and delivery teams.

Main Duties and Responsibilities



Employee Lifecycle Support

Provide end-to-end HR support across the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, development, performance management, employee relations, and offboarding. Act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practice. Support managers with performance conversations, development planning, and people-related decision making. Ensure consistent, fair, and compliant application of HR processes and legislation across the organisation.
Engagement & Culture

Support the design and delivery of employee engagement and culture initiatives aligned with Pulsar's values. Partner with leaders to drive engagement, wellbeing, and inclusion across teams. Analyse engagement feedback and people data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities. Support initiatives that promote collaboration, continuous learning, and a positive employee experience.
Talent Development & Early Careers

Work with Leads and Directors to design and support early-career pathways, including apprenticeships, graduate apprentices, and talent development programmes. In collaboration with the Talent Coordinator, support the attraction, onboarding, and development of apprentices and graduates into ServiceNow-focused roles. Partner with delivery and technical leaders to ensure development pathways build the skills required for client-facing consulting roles. Partner with universities to support learning and qualifications. Support learning, mentoring, and certification initiatives aligned to ServiceNow capability development.
Partnering with Leaders

Build strong relationships with Directors and business Leads to understand workforce needs and future capability requirements. Provide people insights and recommendations to support workforce planning and growth. Support organisational change, role evolution, and capability scaling as the business grows.
HR Operations & Continuous Improvement

Support the development and continuous improvement of HR processes, frameworks, and documentation. Ensure compliance with all employment legislation in countries of operation. Ensure HR data, reporting, and documentation are accurate and maintained to a high standard. Contribute to HR projects and initiatives that support business growth and maturity.

Knowledge, skills and experience



Proven experience in an HR Business Partner or HR generalist role. Has proven L&D experience and can support in design and delivery of learning initiatives. CIPD qualified with a strong knowledge of employment legislation Strong knowledge of the full employee lifecycle and people management best practices. Experience supporting employee engagement and culture initiatives. Ability to partner effectively with senior leaders and managers. Strong communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills. Experience working in a consulting, technology, or professional services environment. Exposure to early-careers programmes such as apprenticeships or graduate development schemes. Interest or experience in technology skills development, including ServiceNow or similar platforms.

Pay: 50,000.00-65,000.00 per year
