Main Purpose of the Job

Effective business partnering with key leaders within the organisation to support them with their People strategy and opportunities for growth. Work with teams, managers and key stakeholders to help build organisation and people capability, and shape and implement effective people strategies and activities within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

People Strategy Work with leaders to support the roll out of the global and local People Strategy. Leading key projects to drive our strategy forward. Employee Relations Provide guidance on employee relations issues, helping to resolve conflicts and improve workplace culture. This includes mentoring and coaching managers on best practices fin handling employee matters. Talent Management Manage the talent acquisition process, from pre-recruitment discussions through to offers. Working alongside leaders to ensure the best talent is selected for the organisation. Performance Management process support for leaders and employees Employee development, focus on skills matrix development, individual learning plans. Ownership of succession planning processes for key business areas Policy Management Keep abreast of changes to employment legislation, identifying and writing employment policies to support the development of the organisation.

Qualifications

HR Qualification (CIPD) and/or at least 5 years relevant experience

Desired Skills

Proven experience working in a manufacturing environment Ability to influence and build relationships with all layers of the organisation * Ability to question and challenge others to get to the root of people and business issues.
