Home-based (with occasional travel to London & Surrey)

Hours:

25 hours/week (ideally spread over 4-5 days)

Who We're Looking For




We're seeking an experienced and commercially minded

HR Consultant specialising in Employee Relations (ER)

to join our close-knit, supportive team. You'll be the go-to for managing complex ER cases and providing practical, compliant advice to a range of clients--while also getting involved in broader HR and business development activities.


This is a

varied, client-facing role

where you'll play a key part in shaping positive outcomes for both people and businesses.

Your Key Responsibilities



Employee Relations Focus (Core Area):



Advise on complex ER cases (grievances, disciplinaries, redundancies, TUPE, settlement agreements etc.) Conduct independent investigations and prepare documentation Stay up to date with employment law and best practice

Generalist HR Support:



Support clients across the full employee lifecycle Provide HR advice on recruitment, induction, policy, performance & absence

Client & Business Engagement:



Build and manage client relationships Support pitches, proposals, marketing & networking Contribute to content (blogs, toolkits, videos) and business growth

What You'll Bring



Essential:



? Proven experience managing complex ER cases

? Senior generalist HR experience

? CIPD Level 7 or equivalent

? Strong client-facing, relationship-building skills

? Self-motivated, organised and commercially astute

? Comfortable with remote work and modern tech (Teams, Microsoft 365)

Desirable:



? Experience with SMEs

? Familiarity with tools like Breathe HR, Hireful, Capsule, Canva
