HR Coordinator

As HR Coordinator, you'll play a key role in our HR function, supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, training, and much more. Key Responsibilities
Provide hands-on support across all areas of HR administration and operations
Manage the full recruitment process: drafting job ads, arranging interviews, and onboarding new starters
Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data protection compliance
Coordinate training activities and track learning outcomes
Administer employee benefits and pension schemes, answering queries promptly
Support performance management cycles and development planning
Produce regular HR reports and documentation for leadership teams
Ensure compliance with internal policies, employment law, and regulatory standards
Organise internal HR events and engagement initiatives
Act as a first point of contact for HR-related queries from staff and managers
Assist in employee relations cases, offering guidance to line managers
Contribute to change management processes, including contractual changes, redundancy consultations, and settlement agreements
Deliver in-house training on HR topics to managers and team leads
Represent HR at town halls, employee forums, and internal communications
Support wider HR projects, including policy updates, new system rollouts, and culture-building initiatives
Keep up to date with employment legislation and HR best practices
Lead rollouts of new HR policies, ensuring understanding and adoption across the workforce
What we are looking for
CIPD Level 3 qualification (minimum), with a good grasp of UK employment law
Demonstrable HR experience, ideally in a manufacturing, logistics, or industrial setting
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels
Discretion, professionalism, and a high level of confidentiality
Confident using Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS systems is a plus
High attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-driven approach
A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to occasionally travel to support operations in Glasgow and Cardiff
