Hours:

22.5 hours per week (Agile working negotiable)

Salary:

Band 2 25,500 per annum (FTE)

The HR Coordinator will work alongside the Director of People and Support, to help administer the effective delivery of HR and staff development activities across Mercy UK, creating a great employee experience which reflects the Mercy UK's values and culture, and supporting employees through their career and in their interactions with HR. Activities include recruitment sourcing, screening, interviewing and on-boarding. HR reporting and process administration, staff engagement functions, changes to employment status such as hours, job role etc, dealing with HR queries including annual leave, flexible working, maternity and paternity etc. and the support with HR project coordination.

Role Responsibilities:

The post will include but is not limited to:

? HR Administration:

? Oversee day-to-day HR operations, including maintaining accurate HR records in Personio.

? Manage employee documentation, including contracts, personal details, and records of employment.

? Assist with employee queries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.

? Recruitment and Onboarding:

? Support the recruitment process by posting job ads, coordinating interviews, and communicating with candidates.

? Manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all paperwork is completed and introducing new employees to Mercy UK's culture.

? Coordinate the completion of background checks, references, and other pre-employment documentation.

? Training and Development:

? Manage training schedules and records through iHasco, ensuring staff complete mandatory training and development programs.

? Work with managers to identify training needs and coordinate internal or external training opportunities.

? Track employee progress on training modules and ensure compliance.

? HR Compliance and Reporting:

? Assist in maintaining compliance with relevant HR legislation and Mercy UK's HR policies.

? Generate HR reports from Personio to monitor key metrics, such as absence, turnover, and training completion.

? Support the Director of People and Support in audits and HR-related assessments.

? Wellbeing and Engagement:

? Promote employee wellbeing initiatives, acting as a point of contact for staff on wellbeing matters.

? Support the planning and delivery of staff engagement activities and initiatives.

? Host and coordinate guest relations

? Health and Safety:

? Support HR's involvement in ensuring a safe and compliant working environment. ? Assist with maintaining health and safety records and compliance with Mercy UK's policies.

? Applicable to all Mercy Staff:

o Remain flexible and undertake other duties as assigned.

o Adhere to ethical practice, strict confidentiality, disclosure and safeguarding policies and use discretion at all times.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 15,300.00 per year

Expected hours: 22.5 per week
