Summary
We are now seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join our dynamic team at B Taylor & Sons Transport Limited. This new role will be pivotal in supporting our business and ensuring the smooth operation of human resources processes. The position is based in Sutton-in-Ashfield and plays a key role in fostering a positive and pro-active work environment.
This role is full-time, but also suitable for someone seeking to work part-time 5 days per week, with core hours from 10am to 3pm. The salary for any part-time working would be pro-rata to the advertised full-time salary.
Responsibilities
Assist in the recruitment process by coordinating job postings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
Generate contracts and offer letters, and manage the induction process
Maintain employee records and HR databases with accuracy and confidentiality.
Support onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring a seamless transition into the company.
Facilitate communication between employees and management regarding HR policies and procedures.
Assist with payroll processing and benefits administration as needed.
Contribute to the development of HR initiatives that enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
Requirements
Ideally you will be CIPD part-qualified or studying towards your CIPD.
Proven experience in human resources or administrative support roles, ideally within a logistics business.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to interact effectively at all levels.
Familiarity with HR software such as Bamboo, Breeze, or HRIS is preferred.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for data entry tasks.
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
