About the Team:

You'll join our friendly four-person Corporate HR Cost Controlling team. They're the financial guardians of L'Oreal, making sure money is spent wisely on our people. This is a very financially-focused role, giving you a strong foundation in business finance. We work closely with finance and HR teams across the company.

What You'll Do:

Manage budgets: Keep track of how much we spend on our people, especially external staff. This involves a lot of financial analysis and planning. Predict spending: Use financial forecasting techniques to estimate future costs. Analyse data: Dive deep into financial data, find trends, and explain what's happening. You'll become a pro at using spreadsheets and financial reports. Create reports: Become a reporting whiz using systems like SAP and Compass (we'll train you!). These reports will be used for key financial decisions. Present findings: Confidently share your financial insights with different teams, explaining complex data in a simple way. Work on special projects: Contribute to other finance-related projects, like analysing costs for employees working abroad.

You'll collaborate with HR and finance teams across L'Oreal, including our international team in Madrid.

What You Need:

Strong interest in finance: This role is heavily finance-focused, so a genuine interest in this area is essential. Numbers know-how: Comfortable with spreadsheets, basic math, and financial concepts. Organized & detail-oriented: Able to manage lots of information and spot key details, crucial for accurate financial reporting. Team player: Works well with others and enjoys collaborating on financial projects. Eager to learn: Excited to pick up new financial skills and systems. Previous experience in finance/cost control

You must NOT have already obtained a degree Eligible to work in the UK Have GCSEs in English and Maths at Grade C (4, or equivalent) Have achieved a BBC at A level or equivalent in International baccalaureate or other courses.
