Job Description

Visualhouse is an international creative agency focused on creating compelling brand stories for architecture, design, and the built environment. We work worldwide with leading architects, developers, and designers on landmark projects. Each project is unique, and to each, we bring passion and expertise with our multidisciplinary creative teams skilled in 3D visualisation, still imagery, film, and animation, as well as branding and interactive. Together, these disciplines form a cohesive and creative vision to produce compelling brand narratives for our clients. We have studios in New York, London, and Los Angeles.


Role:





The HR director will develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy. To oversee, manage and develop HR related processes and incentives related but not limited to employment, recruitment & retention, welfare and reward. To support the organisation in operating effectively through productive recruitment methodologies and attraction to ensure that the best available talent and skills are in place.


Recruitment:




Responsible for overseeing the full cycle of recruitment process and talent acquisition strategy Responsible for talent planning as directed by Visualhouse directors in relation to capacity building Ensure candidates recruitment process experience is structured, informative and positive Develop and review job descriptions to ensure they are up to date and accurate Partner with and support hiring managers throughout the recruitment process to identify role requirements Produce exciting and engaging job adverts to attract the best talent Screen, prepare and schedule candidates and staff for interviews in a timely manner In collaboration with hiring managers, develop interview framework, questions and appropriate feedback forms Build and maintain a candidate pipeline for future hires Facilitate and source candidates through a variety channels including LinkedIn, adverts, social media, networking events, referrals, and recruitment agencies where appropriate Build relationships with universities to engage new graduates for junior artist vacancies Prepare, offer and negotiate employment offers in conjunction with company structure/salary banding Analyse and implement change in relation to patterns of successful recruitment campaigns

Human Resources




Process monthly payroll and update changes as necessary where instructed by staff or Visualhouse directors. Liaise with company accountants in regards to employee payroll, payslips and queries Review HR employment contracts and policies & processes with local employment law consultants; implement change where necessary Ensure new staff are inducted and welcomes into teams. In collaboration with immigration lawyers, obtain visas/work permits Manage, review and improve staff benefits where possible Manage office supplies, facilities Handle sensitive and confidential staff matters with care and discretion

Previous experience / Qualifications




Proven HR generalist experience of 5+ years essential Exceptional organisational and communication skills Experience building a collaborative culture in a remote setting Proactive team player with strong customer service and problem solving skills Experienced in developing and supporting line managers through change An ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and diplomacy Self-motivated and able to work under own autonomy or as part of a team CIPD qualification or other related HR qualification desirable
