About the Role:



We are seeking an experienced, proactive HR professional to join our London office. This position manages the full employee lifecycle, ensuring smooth HR operations and full compliance with UK employment law.

Duties/responsibilities:



Ensure each stage of employee lifecycle (onboarding, offboarding, contracts, variations, etc) is completed accurately in a timely manner. Handle employee data with strict confidence and keep employee records up to date on all systems, e.g. right to work documents, employment paperwork, attendance, etc, in compliance with GDPR. Deliver induction and ongoing training programs to enhance employee capability and engagement. Monitor attendance, payroll inputs and performance data, producing regular HR reports. Professionally manage employee complaints and grievances, ensuring they are addressed promptly, documented accurately, and retained in compliance with company policy. Regularly visit the stores/warehouse, proactively communicate with employees to understand their concerns, provide timely feedback on performance and workplace behaviour, and act as a trusted link between staff and management. Ensure HR policies, procedures and practices comply with UK labour legislation and company standards. Continuously improve HR policies and processes to increase efficiency and reduce risk.

Requirements:



Proven work experience as a HR Generalist/Officer/Advisor (2 years) or HR Assistant/Administrator (3 years) Strong knowledge of UK HR regulations, UK employment laws and best practices (Essential) Hand on experience & understanding with HR software Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Excellent communication & interpersonal skills BS degree in Human Resources or CIPD qualified (Essential) Mandarin speaking (Preferable)
