We are looking for a HR Generalist to join the London team and be the face of People Operations for managers and employees in the region. This role will be involved in a wide range of HR functions as well as gaining exposure across a variety of departments within the London office. They will gain hands-on experience as the main contact between employees and our People team including facilitating great collaboration across our people operations functions (e.g. Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development and Payroll & Benefits.

This role would be the perfect opportunity for someone with HR experience ready to take their next step and own the generalist functions of a region, with future progression opportunities to a HR Business Partner role.

Position Responsibilities

  • Guide and coach managers through day to day people related topics, with a particular focus on driving best practices in performance management.
  • Assist in the development of new manager training ideas and deliver training and refreshers in collaboration with the People Development team.
  • Oversee and execute on the full spectrum of people related responsibilities, including but not limited to; performance management, coaching, employee relations, leaver process and exit interviews
  • Research, create and implement innovative solutions for a variety of employee engagement initiatives
  • Working within the HR Business Partner team, you\xe2\x80\x99ll partner with HRBPs on projects related to retention, engagement, performance management and our Third Bridge culture
  • Analyse data using HR metrics, such as time to hire and employee turnover rates, exit interview data and compiling recommendations and support the HRBPs to create repeatable feedback loops with their business units
  • Evolve and deliver a seamless onboarding experience for new hires and managers
  • Responsible for overseeing new joiner paperwork and setting up on our HRIS and delivering new joiner inductions
  • Be the \xe2\x80\x98go to\xe2\x80\x99 expert in the region for local employment law
  • Ownership of immigration responsibilities for the London office - this includes auditing of current visa holders, ensuring we are fully compliant with local immigration requirements, and managing the Sponsor Management System
  • Ensure regional best practice, compliance, processes and procedures
  • Work closely with all centres of excellence across the People Operations team on day to day queries as well as continuous improvement projects including; Talent Acquisition, Total Reward and People Development.
Qualifications
  • Prior experience working in HR
  • Strong understanding of local employment legislation
  • Experience of handling employee relations cases, particularly performance management cases
  • Comprehensive knowledge of employment law
  • Knowledge of local immigration requirements, and experience using the Sponsor Management System would be an advantage, although training will be provided.
  • A people centric mindset with the ability to balance the needs of the business with the needs of our people.
  • A self-starter who is proactive and comfortable working independently
  • Resilient to changing priorities and day to day demands from the business
