HR at MV Kelly
The HR team at MV Kelly plays a central role in supporting the business and its people across all regions. Working closely with managers, employees, and apprentices, HR provides practical support across recruitment, onboarding, employee relations and compliance.
As a HR Graduate, you will be part of a supportive team, gaining exposure to both operational and advisory HR tasks, while developing a strong understanding of HR within the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Supporting the HR team with day-to-day HR activities and administrative tasks
Assisting with all aspects of the recruitment cycle, including support where required with the interviewing process
Supporting the effective onboarding of new starters across the business, including conducting company inductions
Assisting with the preparation of HR documentation, letters, and reports
Supporting HR related projects such as job fairs, work experience programmes, apprenticeships, and community initiatives
Assisting in ensuring HR documentation and processes are compliant with current employment legislation
Supporting the HR Manager with disciplinary and grievance matters, including conducting investigations and attending disciplinary hearings
Working closely with management to support and advise on HR-related matters, including guidance on employment law and company policies
Promoting and adhering to MV Kelly's workplace values
Requirements
A degree in Human Resources or a related subject
Strong organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel
A professional, confident, and approachable manner
High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and methodical approach
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
Demonstrates the highest level of confidentiality
Proactive, motivated, and willing to learn
Strong team player with a positive attitude
Previous experience with administration or HR is desirable
