We are looking for a highly organised and proactive
Part-Time Administrator
to join our team. This role will provide essential support across
Health & Safety
and
HR functions
, ensuring compliance, accurate record-keeping, and smooth day-to-day operations.
You will be responsible for maintaining staff records, managing document filing systems, supporting HR and H&S processes, including assisting with compliance checks. This role would suit someone with strong attention to detail, good IT skills, and an interest in developing knowledge in HR.
Key Responsibilities:
Health & Safety Administration
Scan and file documents onto the server (e.g. service sheets, training records, accident forms).
File signed equipment check sheets and personnel documents.
Regularly review the staff training matrix, highlight training needs, and liaise with the Director / HR manager to arrange external training.
Use BrightSafe to issue internal training courses and track completion.
Monitor the building maintenance schedule and notify the H&S Director of upcoming inspections and checks.
HR Administration
Scan and securely file HR documents into personnel files
Maintain notice boards with up-to-date information.
Assist with planning staff events.
Update employee records and training information on the BrightSafe
Learn HR processes to provide support to the HR Manager
About You:
Previous administration experience is desirable (HR or H&S administration an advantage).
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Confident using IT systems and able to learn new platforms quickly.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Flexible and proactive approach to work.
What We Offer:
Part-time hours: 10-15 hours spilt over 3 or 4 days - we are open to discuss, Monday - Thursday
Training and support to develop HR and H&S knowledge.
