Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.

What will I be doing?




The HR team is at the heart of the Studio, delivering the best employment experience for those who join Universal International Studios (UIS).


In this role, you will be an integral part of the International Studio's HR team, providing crucial administrative and project support. You will contribute ideas on ways to engage, motivate, and develop those who work in the Studio, and support various aspects of the employee life cycle, including onboarding, offboarding, maintaining accurate organisational charts and distribution lists, and assisting with the generation of general reports via our HR system. You will also assist in the coordination and delivery of employee engagement activities and events, ensuring they align with our values of being ambitious for the future, in it together, and actively inclusive.

What will I learn from this opportunity?




As well as gaining insights into the media industry, how Productions operate, and NBCUniversal's businesses, you'll be introduced to the foundational skills of an HR professional. You'll discover the breadth of strategic and operational work HR undertakes to create positive workplaces. You will learn about the factors that motivate and engage people to stay with a company, and understand the supportive role of HR in making that possible. You will gain exposure to how HR supports employees throughout their lifecycle within a company.

Programme Essentials




To join one of our 12-month Internships you must meet one of the following criteria:

You're currently an undergraduate studying at University and returning to full time education in Autumn 2027 You're looking to gain work experience after completing your A-Levels, an equivalent course or an Apprenticeship

Additionally, you must be eligible to work in the UK without restriction for the duration of the internship from Monday 29th June 2026 - Friday 23rd July 2027.
