We're now looking for an HR Manager to join our team on-site in Guildford on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This exciting hands-on opportunity will be crucial in shaping our studio's day-to-day HR operations to ensure everything runs seamlessly; a truly hands-on tactical HR role!


Here's just a snippet of what you'll be up to:

Oversee and manage all daily HR functions/ Manage and mentor the HR team to ensure they're well supported and have plenty of opportunities for career growth and development Develop clear policies and processes across the whole employee lifecycle, implementing and communicating effectively across the studio as required Work closely with + HR Advisor to act as support or point of escalation for ER cases and general guidance + HR Administrator to review and assess all HR team processes and systems to ensure fit-for-purpose and as streamlined as possible
+ Recruitment Lead to collaborate on recruitment initiatives and activities
+ Head of HR to support and implement new projects or initiatives
Provide advice, support, and coaching to line managers and employees

What we're looking for:

Proven HR experience in an SME environment, preferably in creative or tech industries Strong generalist background covering the full spectrum of HR functions Great leadership and team management skills - experience of managing HR team/s A pragmatic and hands-on approach to work, with a clear focus on the value of principles over process Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills - highly personable, enthusiastic and empathetic Skilled in creating internal communications to promote and maintain a friendly, informal yet professional tone of voice Tech-savvy with ability to pick up new systems easily - ideally with experience of configuring, implementing and launching new systems Solid understanding of UK employment laws, regulations and best practices
