Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on

HR Coordinator

to support the smooth day-to-day running of our busy

Pick & Pack warehouse

operation. This is a fast-paced role combining people management, HR compliance, and workforce planning, ensuring our team is fully trained, safely working, and correctly rostered to meet daily targets.

You'll play a key role in ensuring we remain compliant with UK employment legislation, Right to Work checks, and internal training and safety standards, while also managing weekly staffing plans for a team of

10+ warehouse operatives

.

Key Responsibilities: HR, Compliance & Workforce Support



Carry out and maintain accurate

Right to Work (RTW) checks

in line with UK requirements Ensure compliance with

UK working laws

, including working time regulations, breaks, and shift patterns Support employee onboarding including contracts, inductions, and internal documentation Maintain HR records and ensure all employee files remain up to date Provide support with attendance, conduct issues, performance concerns, and general employee queries

Training, Safety & Standards



Coordinate and track training for warehouse staff including refresher training where required Ensure new starters receive full health & safety induction and are trained for role-specific tasks Support warehouse compliance requirements including safety procedures, PPE usage, and incident reporting Assist with auditing and maintaining strong standards across

safety and compliance


Rostering & Shift Planning



Create and manage weekly rotas for

20+ team members

Arrange cover for sickness, holiday, peak periods, and sudden operational changes Ensure staffing levels support daily pick/pack volumes and warehouse KPIs Communicate shift changes clearly and professionally to the team

What We're Looking For



?

Essential



Strong knowledge of

UK Right to Work checks (RTW)

and legal compliance Good understanding of

UK working laws

, shift scheduling, and employment best practice Experience managing staff rotas / workforce planning for

20+ people

Comfortable working in a

warehouse or fast-moving operational environment

Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with people at all levels Ability to work under pressure and react quickly to changing priorities Strong organisation and admin skills with excellent attention to detail
