Overview


VP MED Group Ltd are looking for a HR Manager 20 hours per week on a flexible basis the role will be both strategic and hands-on. You'll set up the core people processes we need for scale while being directly involved in day-to-day HR operations. You'll work closely with the leadership team and line managers, shaping how we attract, retain, and develop talent as we grow internationally.

Key Responsibilities:



Workforce Planning & Recruitment

Analyse workforce needs against business strategy. Strengthen recruitment process to hire the right people efficiently Supporting writing job descriptions with department heads. Manage advertising, candidate sourcing, CV analysis whilst organising the interview process. Run a well communicated and compliant recruitment processes (shortlisting, interviewing, selection with relevant department head). Onboard new hires smoothly (contracts, induction, IT/system access, culture integration) - ensuring a training and development pathway is outlined with the department heads.
Employee Relations & Engagement

Build a clear process for "checking in" with new hires and support any early -stage concerns/challenges. Act as a point of contact for employee concerns. Manage conflict resolution, grievances, and disciplinary procedures fairly. Promote regular employee engagement (surveys, feedback, recognition programmes). Help support and drive workplace culture, in line with our values and aspiration.
Performance Management (Talent and culture)

Implement appraisal systems feedback processes & personal development /career pathways. Help managers set career, company goals and KPIs for employees which supports the setting of. Support underperformance management. Encourage and design mechanisms to build a high-performance culture.as well as helping to shape our culture based on our deep values.
HR Policies & Compliance

Draft, update, and communicate HR policies (discipline, leave, etc.).on a 1:1 basis or on Teams Ensure compliance with employment law and regulations (health & safety, GDPR, equality). Keep accurate employee records and manage HR systems.
Workforce Wellbeing & Support

Promote health and wellbeing initiatives (EAPs, mental health support, flexible work). Spend time with employees and their teams, understand the needs of employees and the business and help to find the right balance. Support work-life balance and diversity/inclusion programmes. Provide advice on sickness absence and return-to-work processes. Exit strategies / interviews for employees moving on
Strategic HR & Business Partnering

Align HR strategy with organisational strategy and identify future needs. Facilitating and directing recruitment processes / advertising Advise leadership on workforce trends, risks, and opportunities and how to maximise employee engagement. Attend Management meetings as required to share with the team your experience and ideas on how to recruit build, support and maintain a high performing team.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 26,000.00-31,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 per week
