About the Role



PageTiger is seeking a confident and capable HR Manager to join our growing SaaS business based in Lincoln. With a small and dynamic workforce, this is a hands-on, standalone role that balances day-to-day HR operations with delivering strategic advice at board level. As our first HR hire, you'll be responsible for managing the full employee lifecycle, supporting performance, development and culture whilst ensuring PageTiger remains compliant with employment law and aligned with industry best practice.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently as well as working closely with managers to support the business. Reporting to the CEO you will work with a senior management team that values your insight and welcomes ideas to improve engagement, culture, wellbeing, and performance.

Responsibilities:



Act as a strategic partner to the senior management team, providing HR insight, guidance and developing an overall HR strategy, workforce planning, and succession planning. Identifying staffing needs, developing job descriptions, sourcing and screening candidates, conducting interviews, making hiring decisions and onboarding process to ensure a seamless and consistent experience for new hires. Planning and implementing training programs, assessing employee needs, and ensuring ongoing professional development. Develop and managing salary structures, benefits programs, and ensuring compliance with pay regulations. Addressing employee concerns, managing grievances, handling disciplinary issues, and promoting positive workplace relationships, provide proactive HR guidance to all employees. Work closely with the company's external Employment Law provider to ensure that all HR practices adhere to employment law, including equal opportunities, data protection, and health and safety regulations. Maintaining accurate employee records, managing HR software, and analysing HR data to identify trends and opportunities. Implementing and managing performance review systems, providing feedback, and addressing performance issues and continually supporting managers to measure their team's performance. Maintaining HR policies and procedures utilising PageTiger's platform, and communicating effectively, promoting employee engagement, and fostering a positive company culture. Support line managers providing coaching where necessary Developing high quality HR systems utilising PageTiger platform to improve engagement, quality processes, compliance and culture.

Requirements:



Minimum of 3 years' experience ideally within a small to medium-sized business Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices Proven ability to manage employee relations matters Experience managing end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes High attention to detail, particularly in maintaining HR records, policies, and compliance Experience with HR and L&D systems Experience working in the tech or SaaS sector (Desirable) Experience of design & content creation (Desirable) Experience working with external HR providers (Desirable)

Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree preferred CIPD Level 5 (or working towards) Ongoing professional development

Remuneration:



32,000 - 40,000 per year, dependent on experience.
