About the role




Reporting to the HR Director, and working closely with our Office & Engagement Manager and HR Advisor, this is a broad generalist role with a focus on both recruitment and core HR delivery. You'll play a key role in supporting leaders and employees across the full employee lifecycle, balancing operational excellence with a proactive, people-first approach.

What you'll be doing



Through our exceptional employer brand you will lead end-to-end recruitment across all business areas, from advertising and screening to supporting the successful onboarding of new starters. Providing expert support and advice on employee relations matters, ensuring fairness, consistency, and alignment with our values. Managing payroll and benefits, working with external providers to ensure smooth and accurate processes. Supporting employee engagement initiatives -- from surveys and feedback to recognition and wellbeing activities. Partnering with managers to drive great people practices and help our teams grow and perform. Supporting the delivery of HR projects and initiatives that make our culture and employee experience even stronger. Be an advocate and champion strong internal communications and work with the HR team to ensure consistent and clear communications are delivered across different channels.

About you




You'll be a confident and approachable HR generalist who enjoys getting stuck in. You will bring curiosity, initiative, and a genuine interest in how our business works - our customers, our growth plans, and how every person contributes to our success.


We would love to hear from you if you have:

Solid HR experience across the employee lifecycle (CIPD Level 5+ or equivalent experience would be beneficial but we will be willing to fund a qualification) Previous experience in a HR Manager or HR Team lead role Great understanding of UK employment law and best practice Hands-on recruitment experience, ideally in a tech or growth business Strong communication and relationship-building skills A proactive, positive approach -- with a genuine passion for people and culture
