Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented HR specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources management and experience of helping the development of a rapidly growing business.
Primary responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective HR policies and procedures appropriate for the size of business.
Recruit, hire and onboard new employees
Manage employee relations, including performance reviews, disciplinary actions and conflict resolutions
Coordinate employee training and development programs
Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
Maintain accurate employee records and documentation
Manage security clearances for staff
Work with the wider management team to enhance business culture and drive high levels of staff engagement
Assist with HR related projects and initiatives
Minimum requirements:
Nationality must be one of the NATO countries
Must be able to obtain BPSS clearance with the potential to obtain SC clearance in the future if required
Experience in HR management or a related field
HR qualification (desirable)
Experience of working in a manufacturing environment (desirable)
Experience of working in a small, growing business (desirable)
Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations
Knowledge of health and safety regulations
Excellent organisation and time management skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficient in Microsoft software
Working hours: Approx 20 hours per week. The company is willing to discuss working patterns to meet both business and candidate needs.
Based on site in Ross-on-Wye
