Purpose



To work collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team in a standalone HR Position, delivering high-class, supportive HR service to the business, employees and by extension our customers.

Scope



The HR Manager will report to the Managing Director and directly advising the Senior Leadership Team on people strategies, best practice, policies and procedures. Delivering strong employee engagement initiatives, proactive approaches, performance and capability management and an all-round strong generalist approach to the Management team and wider business.

Key Responsibilities



Design and implement HR strategies that align with overall business goals and enhance company performance Oversee the full recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews and onboarding of new hires. Act as point of contact for employee relations issues, including but not limited to Grievances, Mediation and Conflict resolution. Oversea Employee Wellbeing initiatives including Mental Health First Aiders and Hybrid Working arrangements. Consistently develop the ERGOS culture & values with strategic insight and constant improvement objectives. Manage and update company documentation, including but not limited to, Employee Handbook, Onboarding Guide, Training Manuals and New Starter Documentation. Monitor employee engagement for retention success, development feedback and ensuring a healthy and driven workplace. Promote and enhance DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) across the business and develop up to date practices and opportunities. Implement performance appraisal systems, supporting managers in conducting reviews, and developing performance growth. Developing and facilitating Line Manager training with new initiatives and existing refresher training. Manage employee welfare programs such as Occupational Health and Risk Assessments where necessary. Process and manage full 5 year referencing details for all new starters with our third-party provider Verifile. Ensure GDPR, Privacy Policies and NDAs are all adhered too and updated where necessary. Ensuring compliance with UK employment law and lead the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures. Working closely with the Compliance Manager on ISO auditing and stakeholder requirements. Assess training needs and creating continuous professional development programs, enhancing employees' sills and career growth. Support the Business Functions with Health & Safety, Compliance and Facilities where needed. Manage Reward & recognition initiatives including benefits, quarterly awards and value driven recognition. Report on Legislative updates ensuring Policies & procedures is updated and in date. Regularly assess economic and industry standards ensuring ERGOS remain competitive and fair. Manage HRIS systems with new starters, leavers, holiday allowances, reporting and ad hoc changes. Working closely with the SOC (Security Operations Manager) in delivering security breach training and new starter awareness. Manage Third Party relationships with, but not limited to, Moorepay HRIS, Verifile, Signable, Indeed, LinkedIn and Disclosure Baring Service (DBS). Drive organisational success with People Strategy and Business Strategy alignment. Any ad hoc requirements supporting the wider business.

??Qualifications and education requirements?



A professional HR Qualification (CIPD) Level 5 is preferred, or equivalent proven experience in a similar role.

Essential Skills



Previous HR standalone experience is ESSENTIAL Strong HR Generalist experience is ESSENTIAL Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong understanding of UK Employment Law Strong ability to organise and multi-task Proficient in HR software (ideally Moorepay but not essential) and MS Office Suite Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels Strategically influential and operationally adaptable Experience within an MSP, or IT industry, would be advantageous, but not essential

FTE is 35-40k, the hours for this role are 22.5 per week and pro-rated salary is 21-24k
