Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with the organization's goals and UK employment law.
Lead the full
employee lifecycle
, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they remain competitive, equitable, and compliant.
Act as a key
liaison
between management and staff, providing guidance on employee relations, performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
Ensure strict compliance with UK employment laws, health & safety, data protection (e.g., GDPR), and HR best practices.
Oversee HR administration: maintain employee records, organisational charts, HR metrics, and confidentiality.
Drive HR projects to boost employee engagement, retention, and culture -- e.g., recognition schemes, DE&I initiatives, training programs.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Proven experience as an
HR Manager
or in a similar HR leadership role.
Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
Savvy with HRIS systems, data management, and HR analytics.
A relevant HR qualification or degree (e.g., CIPD, business, HRM, or equivalent). Certifications desirable.
