We're a small, growing team of 40 people, passionate about what we do and serious about looking after our people. Our environment is friendly, collaborative, and full of energy, and we're looking for an HR professional who can support our team while helping us grow responsibly.
The Role
As our HR Manager, you'll be at the heart of our people operations. You'll manage the day-to-day running of HR, keep us on track with employment law, and make sure our team feels supported, motivated, and heard. You'll need to be approachable and friendly, but also confident in setting boundaries when needed.
What You'll Be Doing
Running HR:
Take charge of our HR processes and keep everything running smoothly.
Compliance & Legislation:
Stay on top of employment law and make sure we're fully compliant.
Working Together:
Collaborate with our external HR consultants when needed.
Leading by Example:
Show integrity, professionalism, and fairness in everything you do.
Hands-On Support:
Be flexible, adaptable, and ready to roll up your sleeves.
Recruitment & Onboarding:
Manage contracts, inductions, and maintain training records.
Time & Attendance:
Keep track of absences, sick leave, and holiday entries.
Organisation:
Maintain tidy personal, HR, and office filing systems.
Employee Relations:
Handle disciplinary issues, grievances, and conflicts with tact and confidence.
Communication:
Keep things clear, friendly, and professional across all levels of the business.
About You
Strong emotional intelligence; warm, approachable, and professional.
Confident communicator, able to handle sensitive situations with care.
Well-organised, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple tasks.
Experienced in recruitment, HR operations, and employment law compliance.
Skilled in handling disciplinary and grievance procedures fairly and effectively.
Flexible, proactive, and willing to get stuck in wherever needed.
