Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities





Management of the HR Team (2 direct reports)



Manage employee relations, resolve conflicts, and promote a culture of respect and continuous improvement.



Lead the recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to meet labor needs in a high-demand manufacturing environment.



Ensure compliance with UK employment law and company policies.



Implement training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and performance.



Monitor and support employee performance management processes, including annual reviews, performance improvement plans, and disciplinary actions.



Analyse and produce HR metrics and provide reports and recommendations to leadership for continuous improvement whilst producing HR KPI's and reports on a monthly basis through local management meetings.



Responsible for ensuring all payroll information is correct and submitted in line with required timescales.



Develop and maintain effective policies and procedures for the region, including recruitment and selection, equal opportunities, handbooks, discipline and grievance.




Competencies





Strong understanding of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.



Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.



Demonstrated ability to lead and influence at all levels of the organisation.



Experience with HRIS systems is essential.



Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills with a hands-on, results-oriented approach.



Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.




Accountabilities and Performance Measures





Alignment of HR with Business Strategy - understand the needs of the business and integration/alignment of HR practices.



Customer Focus - maintains high customer satisfaction that meets company standards.




Job Requirements/Qualifications





CIPD qualified



You have significant Human Resources experience at a management level, ideally within a high-volume, fast-paced and customer-focused environment.



Experience in Manufacturing environment is essential (5 years min)



Travel to our UK site is essential on a required basis



On site role in a manufacturing facility with regular interaction with Operatives, Supervisors and Senior Team
