Contract Type: x1 Fixed Term for 2 years & x1 Fixed Term for 12 months, maternity cover

Location: Salford Civic Centre \xe2\x80\x93 although hybrid working is available and encouraged

We are looking to appoint a number of HR & OD Consultants to join our passionate HR team. Depending on skills and experience, the salary for this post is \xc2\xa3 34,723 - \xc2\xa337,261.

Reporting into a HR Business Partner, as a HR Consultant you will play a key role in providing solution focused, people centred professional advice to clients on all aspects of the employee lifecycle.

The successful candidate will;

  • Work in close alignment with managers and leaders across the Council, Schools and Partners, managing a varied employee relations caseload.
  • Quickly develop effective working relationships to influence and support management teams on the development and delivery of their people plans in support of the achievement of organisational and school priorities.
  • Have the passion, knowledge, and experience to deliver a high-quality advice, guidance and coaching to managers and leaders.
  • Have good employment law knowledge and take personal responsibility to keep up to date with employment matters.
  • Approach the role with a positive can-do solution focused attitude and model and demonstrate our values and behaviours.
  • Be adaptable and demonstrate flexibility, and to be open to new ways of working.
