We are excited to offer an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and detail-oriented HR Officer to join our dynamic team. The HR Officer will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of day-to-day HR and Learning & Development (L&D) activities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong administrative background, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for contributing to a positive and inclusive work environment.

This provides an excellent opportunity for candidate who is looking to grow their HR experience and knowledge across the whole employee HR cycle.

Key Responsibilities





Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including right-to-work checks and tracking. Handle employee administration for the organisation including all changes, such as probation period confirmation, salary changes, promotions, transfers, and terminations. Support the L&D Manager with the organisation and administration of training initiatives. Process time-off requests and ensure compliance with company policies. Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing timely and effective resolutions. Collaborate with the Director of People and HRBPs to address employee relations issues and foster a positive work environment. Work as directed by the Director of People on specific HR projects


Requirements





Strong attention to detail. Proven experience as an HR officer or a related role. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Strong organisational and time management skills. Familiarity with employment laws and regulations. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Desirable skills

An interest in or knowledge in commodities, energy, or financial markets.
