We are seeking an experienced HR Officer to take the lead on HR across multiple companies within a group. This role will provide experience and exposure to all areas of HR within a fast-paced, dynamic and ambitious organisation.
The role will involve working closely with various departments in a consultancy style approach, increasing consistency and ensuring compliance.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
Keep up to date with Employment Law and HR changes, ensuring that Company policies and documentation remain up to date and compliant
Conduct reviews of HR procedures in line with policy updates, and carry out training with line managers as required
Maintain accurate staff records, inclusive of absence reporting, updating employee database, digitally filing signed paperwork copies
Assist in the preparation and completion of annual appraisals and probation reviews
Deal with grievances and implement disciplinary procedures
Assist with the recruitment process - writing job descriptions, posting job adverts, candidate shortlisting, booking in interviews
Liaise and assist in preparation of employment contracts and new starter paperwork, and assist the line managers in preparing and implementing induction plans
Assisting with payroll administration - carrying out hours checks on a weekly basis, and managing leave requests and allowances
Analyse training needs and prepare an annual schedule of training requirements for each company across the group
Liaising with relevant heads of department and booking in relevant training courses as per agreed schedule
Prepare and conduct employee NPS surveys
Prepare and provide relevant monthly HR reports and KPI metrics to the Leadership team
Experience and skills
At least two years' experience as an HR Administrator or HR Officer
Understanding of UK employment law
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
Excellent IT skills
Strong attention to detail
Effective organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work
Ability to work unsupervised with a commercial approach
CIPD qualification is desirable

Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 4.30pm (with a 30 minute unpaid break for lunch)
Based at the offices in Tangmere, with ad hoc travel to regional offices as required
Starting salary of 30,000 - 35,000 per annum, depending on experience
28 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays)
