An opportunity has arisen within the People and HR department for an HR Officer to join our Employee Services team providing a high quality, effective and responsive HR and advisory support service to managers and employees across the organisation.
You will be one of the first points of contact for HR queries, via the Ask HR ticketing portal, telephone, and email. You will support and advise managers and employees on a broad range of HR policies and processes.
To be successful you will possess excellent administration and computer literacy skills as well as the ability to work quickly, flexibly, and accurately under pressure. A working knowledge of an HR operational environment and HR systems is essential.
You will also need to demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills and work well as part of a team. If you have the knowledge and ability to create and maintain office systems and can work to tight deadlines, then this could be the role for you.
You will be required to complete a variety of HR payroll processing tasks and explain complex issues such as unsocial hours to managers and staff. Experience of making pay and other calculations is also required e.g. calculating leave entitlements. The team are enthusiastic and committed so you will receive lots of support.
