We're supporting a well-established organisation in recruiting an HR Officer to provide vital administrative and payroll support, alongside absence casework. This role is ideal for someone highly organised, detail-focused, and looking to develop further in HR.
What you'll be doing:
Managing HR administration including maintaining accurate employee records.
Supporting monthly payroll preparation and liaising with payroll providers.
Monitoring absence trends and leading absence investigations in line with policy.
Producing HR metrics and reports to support decision-making.
Acting as the first point of contact for employee queries.
About you:
Previous experience as an HR Officer, HR Coordinator, or Administrator with payroll exposure.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
Knowledge of HR systems and strong Excel capability.
Confident handling sensitive employee issues such as absence management.
Excellent communication skills and a solutions-focused approach.
