We would love to hear from you if you are a HR professional looking for an opportunity to take the next step in your career and work in a team where you feel supported to develop and flourish.
You will work closely with managers across the Council to ensure they have the advice and guidance needed to handle a range of people issues including employee relations casework, managing sickness absence and senior recruitment campaigns.
The Council is serious about the health and well-being of its workforce, and you will work with colleagues to analyse data to help inform where services will benefit from focused support and be instrumental in helping to shape what this looks like.
Working as part of the team, you will have the freedom to use your professional judgement to explore people issues, understand the implications for the Council and provide innovative solutions, working closely with senior managers and the trade unions.
We are looking for someone who holds a level 5 CIPD qualification and/or well-developed experience as an HR Advisor.
