Peterborough College is seeking a dedicated HR Officer to join our team and play a vital role in supporting our staff and line managers. In this role, you'll be the go-to person for all HR needs in your designated areas, working proactively to ensure a smooth and successful experience for everyone.

What you'll do:



Provide expert HR guidance and support to line managers on a range of employee relations matters. Partner with managers in the recruitment process, from vacancy authorization to onboarding new staff. Oversee employee administration tasks, ensuring accurate records and efficient payroll processing. Champion continuous learning and development by assisting with training needs identification, program coordination, and data management. Foster positive working relationships with staff across the College, promoting open communication and a collaborative environment.

You'll be a great fit if you have:



A Level 3 qualification in a HR related field Recent experience in HR or a related field. Strong understanding of employment law and best practices. Excellent organizational and administrative skills. The ability to build rapport and provide exceptional customer service. Proficiency in HR information systems and MS Office Suite.
