Job Description


Sewell Wallis are thrilled to be working with a fantastic Sheffield based organisation, who are looking to appoint an experienced HR Officer to their central team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and delivering day-to-day HR administration, providing generalist support to the central team and provide appropriate HR advice on the organisation\'s policies and procedures.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • HR Compliance, Reporting & Systems
  • HR Generalist Support
  • Administer processes to ensure all employee contractual variations and resignations are dealt with in line with procedures
  • Manage the administration and support the delivery of recruitment
  • Support the organisation and delivery of in-house induction, performance management, professional development and training of staff
  • Under the supervision of the central HR Manager, provide assistance and guidance to managers during low level HR case management meetings
  • Work collaboratively with the payroll team to improve current practices and enhance internal controls
Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have at least CIPD level 3 (or related experience), strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate others and to ensure deadlines are met. The ability to foster good relations with a range of colleagues at all levels, and be able to support the flow of meetings with tact, diplomacy and sensitivity.
