This is an exciting opportunity to join our Trust Central HR Team as HR Officer (Systems and Operations) to contribute to the development and delivery of high-quality HR services across our family of 16 schools. We are looking for a detail-driven and tech-savvy HR Officer to take ownership of our HR system and database, ensuring it reflects real-time employee data and supports smooth HR operations. You will join a skilled and experienced HR and Payroll Team who play a crucial role in supporting Red Kite colleagues throughout every stage of their career. At the heart of our work is a fully integrated HR and Payroll system, enabling us to streamline processes, equip leaders with the tools they need, and deliver a consistent, high-quality service across our Trust. All HR and payroll services are delivered directly by our dedicated in-house team to ensure our leaders benefit from the team's expertise, experience, and commitment to supporting school improvement.

About You



To be a good fit for this role, you will have the ability to:

Manage and administer distinct areas of our HR provision in close liaison with our schools, providing direct support in areas such as contract changes and policy guidance Become the lead superuser of our HR and payroll system, ensuring that all colleague records are maintained in accordance with audit and data protection requirements, working in line with our Trust policies Act as the go-to person for system queries, supporting colleagues with training and troubleshooting Work with a methodical and organised approach to managing information Spot inefficiencies, suggest improvements, and help automate routine tasks to streamline HR operations Confidently guide leaders and managers through the application of HR policies and procedures
