This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic and motivated, developing their career in HR within a growing and innovative company.
You will provide administrative support to the HR Manager and Empower Family Group based at our head office in Taunton and support a wide range of HR duties covering the full employee life cycle including but not limited to recruitment and onboarding, training and development, employee relations support and offboarding.
Key skills for this vacancy are professionalism, strong organisational skills, the ability to plan your own work, willing to use initiative and meet deadlines, reliability and honesty, good IT and communication skills.
Below is a list of some of the main duties and responsibilities of the post:
Assist Admin & HR Manager with taking minutes in ER case meetings
Issue contracts of employment to onboarding candidates in line with employment legislation
Assist the recruitment team with safer recruitment checks during the full recruitment lifecycle as and when required
Assist the Admin & HR Manager in the production of quantitative and qualitative data for the monthly HR Manager reports in a timely manner
Monitor the HR inbox and action incoming emails accordingly
Auditing of employee files and onboarding files
Update job descriptions with/without the Directors/Service Leads when required
Supporting advising managers on low level employee relation casework
