Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources & Payroll Administrator to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in supporting various HR functions and ensuring the smooth operation of our human resources department. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and experience with HRIS systems, payroll software, and data entry, contributing to the overall efficiency of our HR processes.

Duties



Manage employee records and maintain accurate data within our HRIS system (IRIS). Draft employee related correspondence for managers and the HR Business Partner. Provide first line advice to people managers. Manage the employee benefits administration process. Assist with collating payroll data for processing by our external payroll provider. Conduct data entry for employee information, ensuring all records are up-to-date and compliant with company policies. Support recruitment processes by coordinating interviews, processing applications, and conducting background checks. Provide administrative support for employee onboarding and offboarding procedures. Assist in the analysis of HR metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement within the organisation. Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits in a timely manner. Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment on HR-related initiatives. Manage systems and processes to ensure a streamlined HR function and seamless management of the employee lifecycle.

Qualifications



Proven experience in a human resources administrative role. A basic understanding of employment law and employee relations. Familiarity with HRIS systems and payroll software. Strong data entry skills with a keen eye for detail. Excellent analytical skills to interpret data effectively. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on customer service. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new systems and processes.
This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From 27,346.00 per year
