Work Responsibilities
HR-Related
To provide efficient and effective first line generalist HR advice and support across the full employee life-cycle, including terms and conditions of employment, HR policies and procedures, absence management, recruitment & selection, etc.
Arrange and attend informal/formal meetings and hearings with managers as appropriate, ensuring that all paperwork is accurate and produced in a timely fashion. Take notes at meetings as required.
To support the Head of Human Resources as required in relation to conduct, capability, disciplinary and grievance matters.
To contribute to the review and development of HR policies and procedures, taking account of work practices and the legal framework of employment legislation.
Payroll-Related
To ensure the timely completion of all matters relating to both monthly and annual payroll processes, ensuring staff are paid accurately and on time. This includes ensuring the annual pay review process is completed successfully.
To ensure the accuracy and timely submission of HR and Payroll management information to key stakeholders as required. This includes the monthly submission of all required HR reports to both group and regulatory bodies and any adhoc requests made to the HR team.
To ensure the accuracy of all HR and Payroll system data.
General
Ensure all HR documentation is retained and stored securely and in compliance with legislative requirements.
Support in the management of relationships with external providers of labour, payroll, pension, group life assurance, staff benefits, etc as required.

Previous experience of working in a similar role in an Operations environment

Experience of working with online HR systems

FMCG or drinks manufacturing and preferably spirits sector

CIPD qualified or working towards it
