At St Joseph Catholic Multi Academy Trust (SJCMAT), our mission is clear:
Transforming children's lives through a world-class, Catholic education.
We are entering an exciting new chapter at St Joseph Catholic Multi Academy Trust, and we're looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and qualified HR Advisor to help shape our future.
With 10 schools across Merseyside and beyond, our Trust is growing fast -- and so is our ambition. You'll work closely with our other People Advisor and our strategic HR partner.
As part of our Central HR Team, you'll:
Provide first-line HR advice to school leaders and managers
Coordinate employee relations and casework with our strategic HR partner
Lead on HR policy development, audits, and compliance
Support wellbeing, equality, diversity, and inclusion initiatives
Analyse HR data to inform strategic decisions
Help implement our People Strategy and improve HR systems and culture
What we are Looking For:
A passion for education and making a difference
Experience in generalist HR, including casework and policy implementation
A common-sense, resilient, and people-first approach
Strong communication and organisational skills
A collaborative mindset and commitment to continuous improvement
There are many good reasons to work with us. We have a real sense of community, striving to make a difference to children's education. You will be part, too of the wider Archdiocese family and in the company of some of the best people in education. We also offer a variety of benefits, such as:
Central office in the iconic Port of Liverpool Building
Hybrid and flexible working options to suit your lifestyle
Work alongside a supportive HR team in a values-driven organisation
Competitive salaries and pay progression
Flexible working
Acess to extensive professional development opportunities
Employee assistance programme
Competitive terms and conditions of employment
The list is not exhaustive and will grow as the Trust matures.
This role is based at the Trust's central office in the Port of Liverpool Building, but we offer flexibility to work remotely. The role also requires travel to the schools, when needed. We are keen to understand how this role could work for you and are open to consider flexible working options.
