HR Shared Service Centre Business Partner

Location: West Yorkshire

Salary: \xc2\xa350-55,000 + benefits

HR Operations Shared Services will be the heartbeat of our Clients organisation. You will manage the lifecycle of employee services and experiences from Hire to Retire, providing employees the resources and support they need during important moments in their careers. This role will be a key member of the HR team, developing and implementing world-class, transformative HR services, processes and systems. You will work with a high-energy, hard-working enthusiastic team of professionals who are passionate about customer experience, operational excellence, innovation and employee culture. You will be on the create great HR processes and technology development, working with smart people who are geographically and culturally diverse. This is a high-visibility role with high-level of senior leadership exposure.

The role:

  • Develop and drive strategic and tactical Shared service centre transformation plans to achieve outstanding people centric results.
  • Responsible for HR operations, reward, employee engagement, data analytics and reporting, hr policy & process and project delivery
  • Foster teamwork, coach and provide effective feedback.
  • Guide your team to analyse and resolve complex employee challenges.
  • Lead your team to identify system problem trends and guide them to implement innovative solutions.
  • Manage and optimise operational performance, results and efficiencies.
  • Build strong relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders and partners.
  • Perform work across the organisation to achieve strategic goals.
  • Proven ability to lead high performing teams in an HR operations and service environment.
  • Responsible for the ER team
  • Build a high-performing HR Service Operations team that drives operational performance and service excellence. Monitor the performance of the team against optimal service levels, quality, and efficiency standards.
  • Leverage and analyse reports and case management tools to manage service levels and facilitate performance coaching discussions with the team members, assessing the preventive and corrective actions.
  • Provides overall prioritisation of work assignments and management of functional team resources and their activities.
  • Identify process improvement and automation opportunities-partner with the Service Delivery team to implement your ideas into action.
  • Leverage an acute understanding of HR operational processes to address escalations and manage customer queues.
  • Review processes and procedures to ensure alignment with objectives and business needs.
The person:
  • Degree educated, or equivalent
  • Demonstrated people leadership and management skills. Exceptional coaching and mentoring skills to develop talent. Excellent teacher.
  • HR management experience in a HR shared service centre environment. HR Operations role.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Expert skills in Excel and Power Point. Able to create complex formulas in spreadsheets.
  • Results oriented and data driven. Ability to create and manage to key performance indicators. Strong analytical skills.
  • Customer service focused. Understand customer\'s needs, effectively manage expectations, use sound judgement with sensitive topics, and escalate concerns when necessary.
  • Collaborate with partners and stakeholders to resolve complex problems, and negotiate and align on critical business decisions. You believe that no jobs are too big; no problems are too complex.
  • Passionate about identifying, leading and driving processes improvement, strategies and innovation. Has lead multiple continuous improvement initiatives by simplifying, standardizing, centralising, and automating complex processes.
  • Energised by problem solving, thinking critically and quickly identifying root cause and corrective action strategies.
  • Lead and sponsor multiple complex projects and initiatives across operation functions, systems, and regions.
  • Master at managing and adapting to rapid change. Proven ability to effectively communicate and motivate teams through transformation.
  • Expert at managing capacity and knowing how to flex your team to meet the changing needs of the organisation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills - directly and succinctly - across cubicles, organizational boundaries and cultures. Comfortable creating and delivering presentations on a variety of topics. Excellent facilitator.
  • Strong business acumen. You are an experienced professional with multiple areas of specialisation.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high stakes and change-driven environment.
  • High attention to detail. Examples such as reviewing work content and managing system testing and quality checks.
  • Highly organised and able to efficiently manage multiple priorities. Meets deadlines.
  • Fluent in HR industry best practices and know how to leverage these to achieve world-class results.
