We are a reputable further education provider seeking a skilled and experienced Part-time HR Specialist to deliver high-quality Human Resource services. As a valued member of our non-academic team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the HR department of the business.

Job Summary:



We are seeking an HR Specialist to provide comprehensive HR support and guidance to our organisation, ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations, and contributing to the development of a positive and inclusive work culture. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for a range of HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits administration, and HR data management.

Key Responsibilities:



- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and processes to support the growth of the organisation

- Provide expert advice and guidance to managers and employees on HR matters, including employment law, employee relations, and performance management

- Support talent acquisition efforts, including job posting, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding

- Foster a positive and inclusive work culture, promoting employee engagement, diversity, and inclusion

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records, and provide HR data and insights to support business decision-making

- Support employee relations, including investigations, grievance procedures, and disciplinary actions

- Develop and deliver HR training and development programs to support employee growth and development

- Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations, including data protection and equality legislation

- Essential Requirement:



- CIPD qualification (Certificate or Diploma in HRM/OD)

- 2+ years' experience in an HR role

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices

- Proficiency in HR systems and software (e.g. HRIS, recruitment software)

- Desirable:



- Bachelor's degree in HRM, Business Administration, or related field

- Experience in a similar role in a start-up or growth environment

- Knowledge of HR metrics and analytics

- Familiarity with HR software and systems (e.g. Workday, BambooHR)
