We are seeking an experienced and motivated HR Systems Administrator to join our HR and Payroll team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting and enhancing the College's new integrated HR and Payroll system, MHR People First.
You will be responsible for ensuring the system is effectively configured, maintained, and optimised across all HR functions, enabling efficient service delivery, safeguarding data integrity, and driving improvements in people management and analytics.
As our HR Systems Administrator, you will:
o Act as the primary administrator for the MHR People First platform, managing day-to-day operations and user support.
o Configure and maintain system settings including reporting lines, pay structures, absence schemes, and pension rules.
o Ensure data accuracy and integrity through regular checks, audits, and cleansing activities.
o Manage upgrades, testing, and quality assurance in collaboration with system suppliers and internal stakeholders.
o Provide training, support, and guidance to HR colleagues, managers, and staff to maximise system use.
o Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics to support strategic decision-making.
o Deliver clear and accessible user guides and documentation to support effective use of the system.
o Ensure compliance with GDPR, safeguarding, equality, diversity, and other College policies.
o Represent HR in project teams, working groups, and external meetings as required.
We're looking for someone who can bring both technical expertise and strong people skills to the role.
You will have:
o Degree-level education (or equivalent experience) in a related field. Recent and relevant experience in HR system administration or leading on system change projects.
Strong IT skills, with the ability to use Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or similar tools to analyse and present data.
Experience in developing user documentation, delivering training, and supporting staff with system use.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
o A high level of accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring data integrity.
o Evidence of continuous professional development.
