This fixed-term position will cover a key member of our People team during maternity leave and will report to the People Team Lead. You'll work closely with leaders and colleagues to support the full colleague lifecycle, helping ensure we attract, retain, and develop top talent.
Working hours: 39hrs a week, Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am-4pm
Key Deliverables
As part of the
People Team
, you'll be responsible for...
Managing the end-to-end recruitment process for all permanent, fixed-term, and casual roles, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
Work closely with hiring managers and the People Team to develop recruitment strategies, plan campaigns, and ensure compliance.
Build and maintain relationships with universities, schools, and preferred recruitment partners to attract top talent.
Lead the apprenticeship recruitment process, from advertising and selection to assessments and onboarding, while managing adult and young apprentices across the business through the Amcor Academy, ensuring their training, development, and overall experience.
Assist with benchmarking, compensation reviews, and salary negotiations to ensure competitive and fair compensation.
Maintaining and updating employee records in HR systems, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
Ensuring compliance with employment legislation and internal policies.

Qualifications/Requirements
Experience:
Experience in a generalist HR advisory role, including recruitment and apprenticeship processes.
Competency Microsoft Office tools.
Proactive, solutions-focused, and highly organised.
Able to manage multiple priorities but be an integral team member.
In-depth knowledge of social media platforms and how to utilise them for brand promotion, attracting talent, and increasing engagement with the business
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and influence at all levels of the business.
Adaptable, proactive, and detail-oriented, with a customer-focused mindset that drives results and enhances the employee experience.
