: Transition Support

Position Overview:

We are a prominent Global Real estate business with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional services to our clients. As we embark on a significant contract award, we are seeking a an experienced Transition (TUPE) support, to join our dynamic HR team in the UK. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in facilitating the smooth transfer of UK employees during the transition of large global contract awards, ensuring compliance with TUPE regulations and maintaining positive relationships with all stakeholders involved.

Position: Transition Support \xe2\x80\x93 3 months FTC

Location: Home Based in Midlands or Derby area (with the flexibility for travel to Derby and/or Bristol when required))

Reporting to: Head of People Experience \xe2\x80\x93 UK Work Dynamics

Responsibilities:

TUPE Consultation Support:

Act as the main point of contact for all queries related to TUPE, both from internal stakeholders and third-party organizations involved in the transfer.

Provide clear and accurate information to employees regarding the legal requirements, process, and implications of TUPE.

Assist in the planning and coordination of TUPE consultation meetings, including preparing agendas, collating necessary information, and ensuring timely communication.

Attend consultation meetings as required and provide guidance to both management and employees regarding the TUPE process.

Due Diligence and Employee Transfer:

Support the Transitions project lead in conducting due diligence activities during the transition process, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and minimizing potential risks.

Collaborate with various teams, such as HR, Legal, and Finance, to gather and compile necessary employee data, contracts, and other documentation required for employee transfers.

Assist in preparing and updating employee transfer schedules, ensuring accurate and comprehensive information is provided to all stakeholders.

Review and analyze employee contracts and terms of employment to identify any discrepancies or potential issues, and advise on appropriate actions.

Employee Support and Communication:

Provide ongoing support to employees affected by TUPE, addressing their concerns and questions throughout the process.

Collaborate with HR and relevant stakeholders to develop clear and concise communication materials, including FAQ documents, presentations, and employee guides.

Ensure all employee communications regarding TUPE are effectively delivered and timely, using appropriate channels such as email, video calls, or face-to-face meetings.

Act as a liaison between employees, management, and external parties involved in the TUPE process, maintaining open lines of communication and ensuring consistent messaging.

Documentation and Compliance:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records related to TUPE transfers, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations and internal policies.

Prepare and distribute relevant documentation, such as employee transfer agreements, letters, and new employment contracts, ensuring their accuracy and adherence to legal requirements.

Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with TUPE regulations and identify areas of improvement in the process.

Stay up-to-date with changes in TUPE legislation, guidelines, and best practices, and provide recommendations to enhance our practices and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

Proven experience in supporting TUPE processes and consultations within the UK.

Sound understanding of TUPE regulations and their practical application.

Excellent knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.

Exceptional organization and time-management skills.

Detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating effectively with various stakeholders.

Proficiency in relevant software applications, such as HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
