We're looking for someone who can help us look after our people -- employees and volunteers -- by keeping our recruitment, onboarding and day-to-day people processes running smoothly.

The role

You'll coordinate recruitment and onboarding for both employees and volunteers, manage checks and paperwork, keep our systems accurate, and be a helpful first point of contact for routine HR and volunteer queries.
It's varied, fast-paced, and central to making sure everyone joining The Kirkwood has a positive experience.

What you'll do

Run adverts, applications, interviews, checks and starter paperwork. Support volunteer placements and onboarding. Keep HR and volunteer records up to date. Provide admin and note-taking support for low-level casework. Work closely with managers and supervisors across all teams.

What you'll bring

Experience in recruitment or people administration. Strong organisation and attention to detail. Confident communication. Ability to juggle priorities and keep processes moving. Comfort using systems and spreadsheets. Discretion and a values-led approach. A driving licence and regular access to a car.
