HR Workforce and Policy Lead
About this opportunity
Cumberland Council is looking to appoint a strategic HR leader to drive Council-wide employee relations and workforce planning. You'll shape policy, lead key projects, and support transformation across services.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement workforce strategies
Lead employee relations initiatives and HR/OD projects
Provide expert advice to senior leaders
Promote a culture of learning and continuous improvement
Ideal Candidate:
Strong HR casework leadership experience
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Proven ability to lead change and deliver results
to help shape the future of our workforce.
This role is available on a fixed term basis until March 2026, although there may be opportunity to extend.
