HRD Advisor
to join their dynamic Human Resources Development team and support a wide range of HR and people-related initiatives.
About the Role
As an
HRD Advisor
, you will play a key role in providing professional support across all areas of HR, including recruitment, employee relations, reward, and policy development. Working closely with the HRD Manager, you'll ensure the delivery of high-quality HR support in line with the company's European and Global HRD strategies.
This role is well-suited to an experienced HR professional who enjoys variety, collaboration, and delivering people-focused solutions that align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Relations:
Provide expert advice and support to employees and line managers on a wide range of employee relations matters, including disciplinary and grievance cases up to dismissal level.
Recruitment & Onboarding:
Support the end-to-end recruitment process, liaising with managers and agencies, screening CVs, conducting interviews, and coordinating psychometric testing. Deliver a smooth and engaging induction experience for all new starters.
HR Administration:
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records using HR systems, ensuring all personal information, payroll changes, and benefits data are processed in line with policies and GDPR.
Reward & Wellbeing:
Support the Reward Manager with wellbeing, CSR, and engagement initiatives throughout the year, responding to employee and manager queries regarding benefits and rewards.
Policy & Compliance:
Assist in the preparation, review, and implementation of HR policies, ensuring compliance with UK employment law and internal standards.
Learning & Development:
Coordinate internal and external training activities, ensuring all records and documentation meet company and IATF16949 requirements.
Projects:
Support HR and business-wide projects that align with European and Global HRD strategies, driving continuous improvement and people development.

Essential:
Completed or working towards
CIPD qualification
(Level 5 or higher preferred)
Minimum
3 years' experience
in a HR function, ideally within a manufacturing or technical environment
Strong
