About the Role
We're looking for a confident and experienced HR/ER Advisor to join our team, based in our Head Office in Cirencester, supporting a high volume of employee relations (ER) cases across the UK. Potential travel to different locations around the country may be required.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a high caseload of ER issues including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, and performance concerns. Act as the first point of contact for ER queries for assigned regions from Area Managers and employees across the UK. Ensure accurate documentation and tracking of ER cases using our case management system. Provide expert advice in line with employment law, company policy, and best practice. Support organisational change initiatives such as restructures and TUPE. Coach and upskill managers to handle ER matters confidently and effectively. Collaborate with the wider HR team and contribute to HR projects and strategy. Assist with recruitment and onboarding activities as needed.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in a high-volume ER advisory role, ideally across multiple locations. Comfortable working independently with remote support. CIPD Level 5 qualified (or equivalent experience). Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Highly organised with strong attention to detail. Experience using HR case management systems is a plus.
