Part-Time (Approx. 2-3 days per week, flexible)
This is a hands-on, people-focused role that combines HR management, recruitment coordination, and subcontractor oversight. You'll support a wide range of construction projects and teams, working closely with management to ensure our workforce is supported, compliant, and well-organised.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage recruitment and onboarding for both direct hires and subcontractors
Handle employment matters including
grievances, disciplinaries, and conflict resolution
Oversee and maintain HR records and ensure legal compliance across all personnel
Administer subcontractor contracts and ensure compliance with
CIS (Construction Industry Scheme)
Advise on pay queries, site issues, and workforce wellbeing
Support the management team with operational workforce planning
Essential Requirements:
CIPD Level 7 or above
Extensive HR and recruitment experience within the
construction sector
Strong working knowledge of
CIS
, pay structures, and subcontractor management
Excellent conflict resolution skills and ability to manage sensitive personnel issues with professionalism and fairness
Deep understanding of how construction sites and supply chains operate
Highly organised, proactive, and confident communicating at all levels
Desirable:
Familiarity with health & safety or site compliance
Based in South Wales or able to work from the Kingsway Centre regularly
