An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Health & Safety Consultant to join our team. Holding your NEBOSH national general certificate or equivalent, and around 2 years experience in an active H&S roles, you will have a thirst for learning and excellent communication skills to ensure successful relationships with our varied clients. Your passion and enthusiasm to learn will be evident, and rewarded with progression and excellent training.

Whilst based at the office in Tamworth on office days, you will also be visiting client premises and sites across the country on a regular basis. This exposure to multiple sectors will further deepen your experience and enable progression. A flexible approach is required as no two days are the same and this role requires flexibility including nights away from home.

This position would suit someone looking to deepen their knowledge and gain experience in a vast array of settings, sectors and be challenged to grow and excel. An outgoing personality and professional conduct with clients is a must.

A inquisitive and analytic mind alongside a pragmatic approach will make you the perfect candidate.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director / Lead H&S consultant, you will be responsible for your own clients and diary management, ensuring that you communicate effectively, and operating within the parameters of Clients' chosen services. Providing advice and guidance, creating policies and risk assessments, and carrying out audits and inspections, you will generate reports that contain proportionate solutions suitable for the organisation, with attention to detail and excellent written skills. You will have a keen eye for detail and an inquisitive mind that always strives to ask more, learn more and know more.

You will ensure each client is approached in a tailored way, and communicate with them regularly to nurture the relationship. You will be a confident traveller and be comfortable with change, adapting where needed to different environments and client needs.

We also delivery Fire, Environmental & Compliance Consultancy and Training in all areas, therefore opportunities to further advance your skills is on offer.

Qualifications & Other Essentials

You should hold NEBOSH National General Certificate or equivalent

Have at least 2 years' some experience specifically in a health and safety role

Full, clean driving licence

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Good administration skills and attention to detail

Be able to manage own diary/ workload and converse professionally with a range of people

Desirable/ Advantageous

Specific Construction, Fire, Environmental, Compliance Qualifications

Previous experience in a consultancy role

Desire to further train in specialist subjects relating to the role

Experience of Accreditations

Package

36,000 - 38,000 per annum + car allowance + private health care after probation

22 days annual leave plus bank holidays plus your birthday off
